AFSCME members will continue to be eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program after a federal judge blocked the administration’s effort to unfairly disqualify certain government and nonprofit employers from the popular program.

Sequoia Mental Health Services Workers Vote To Form Union With AFSCME

The 103 workers at Sequoia Mental Health Services, an Aloha-based non-profit that provides residential and outpatient mental health and substance use treatment services, won union representation with Oregon AFSCME on Monday, June 1st, after a contentious battle with their employer.
